The most important products presented at MECSPE 2025 are:
- New range of S9007.8W helical end mills with tangential insert in diameters Ø40 - Ø50 - Ø63
- New range of mini inserts for grooving and cutting GIE "Mini Groove" for sliding head stock
- New grade T1127 turning inserts with CVD coating
- New taps for steel with metric thread MSA….VS
We will now go into detail to present the Sau news.
Important news are the S9007.8W insert cutters with mechanical fixing with low absorption cutting in processing.
The S9007.8W cutters offer excellent finishing in 90° shoulder machining, have a front drag attachment with diameters for tangential inserts of diameter Ø40-Ø50-Ø63.
The innovative design of the S9007.8W cutters manages to give a smooth cut with maximum precision in processing with stunning results in terms of quality.
The bodies of the S9007.8W cutters are nickel plated, this treatment creates a hard coating that protects it from wear and corrosion while improving chip evacuation. Machining is up to 58 [ ap ] milling depth.
The S9007.8W milling cutters mount three grades insert LMNX 09 and two chip breakers:
- .F51 application for specific cast iron
- .F58 suitable for working steel with two degrees of toughness
The S9007.8W milling cutters can offer excellent performance in steel and cast iron machining with extraordinary results.
The fields of application of S9007.8W helical end mills find their use in a wide range of general applications, especially they can be used with great success in the sectors of earthmoving, automotive, energy, agriculture and automation.
The new range of mini inserts for grooving features a new, higher performing PVD coating with a new grade F4120.The new range of GIE "Mini Groove" mini-inserts for grooving and cutting for sliding head stock has a width from 0.5 to 3 mm.
For the mini inserts for grooving and cutting GIE "Mini Groove" for sliding head stock are recommended for general machining on all materials such as steel, cast iron, stainless steel and heat-resistant alloys. The tools are with nickel-plated body that improve their qualities.
The use of this range is foreseen in all fields in general with a strong predisposition in the medical, aerospace, hydraulic and in all mini and small machining.
The new CVD-coated turning inserts grade T1127 has a carbide composition that, combined with the new CVD coating, optimizes machining by greatly increasing tool life and achieving excellent surface roughness of the workpiece.
The new T1127 turning inserts grade with CVD coating is very efficient on all types of steel and stainless steel, but it can be used in all types of machining with remarkable results.
The new T1127 turning insert grade with CVD coating is ideal for all product areas that have to do with steel and stainless steel machining.
The new MSA...VS taps have a new improved cutting geometry "ECC", they feature a coating "VPS" for an improved control of chip evacuation.
The new "VPS" coating guarantees a low roughness that improves chip flow with results beyond expectations in machining.
The new MSA...VS taps, thanks to the tapered cutting edge shape, have optimal performance on deep threads.
The new taps have an important performance on non-alloy steels and some types of stainless steel.
These new taps have a global use in all processing fields.
